WICHITA, KANSAS
JAMES LEO WALLACE
, 80, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. He was born in Plains, Kansas to Walter Leo Wallace and Dorothy (Nurse) Wallace. He was raised in the Tribune area and was a 1958 graduate of Tribune High School, Tribune, Kansas. His love was farming and was a groundskeeper at Willowbend. He is survived by his wife Elaine; children Kathy (Jim) Wilson, Dot (Jeff) Pursley, James (Beth) Wallace Jr., Debbie (Lyle) Rambeck, Bob Matej, Rob Prather & Rick Prather; 23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; brother Ed (Nancy) Wallace; sisters Joyce (Bob) VanNortrick & Geraldine (Raymond) Barbour. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Westbrook, wife Mary Jo Wallace, stepdaughter Janet Matej, grandchildren Joy Rambeck, Aaron Matej and Joshua Maldener.
Memorials may be designated to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E Rockhill Ste 403, Wichita, Ks 67206. A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4 p.m., Saturday, December 1, at the Wichita Marriott, Wichita, Kansas. A graveside will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas on Monday, December 3.
