Grandfield, James R., 84, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was born June 28, 1929 in Wichita, Kansas to Fred and Alberta Grandfield. Following his lifelong passion for flying, he served his working life in the aircraft industry, retiring from Cessna as an Avionics Engineer in 1997. James is preceded in death by his parents and his son Brad Grandfield. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn Grandfield; his sons Kim Grandfield and Rob Grandfield; daughter-in-laws Joyce Grandfield, Charlene Grandfield, Kathryn Grandfield; grandchildren Laura Migdal, Ryan Grandfield, Traci Grandfield, Derek Grandfield, Jill Grandfield, Allison Fretwell and Darin Grandfield; great grandchildren Taryn, Kean, Aspen and Presley; and sister Virginia Stauffer.
