Evans, James Clinton, 82, retired Western Union Lineman, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013. He was born in Glenwood, Missouri to William Clinton Evans and Cora Elizabeth (Leedom) Evans. He was a graduate of Glenwood High School. James was a U.S. Army and Korean War Veteran. He is survived by his children, Greg (Connie) Evans of Park City, Melissa (Steve) Wallace of Wichita, Linda (Ron) Viola of Homestead, CA, Delia (Tom) Ford of Lubbock, TX, Shelia Pedrow of Wichita; grandchildren, Ryan Evans, Corey Evans, Jim Evans, R.J. Viola, Lana Ford, Alyssa Ford, Justin Pedrow, Amanda Pedrow, Sarah McGregor and Michael Jr. McGregor; great grandchildren, Kaden, Brooklyn and Adryin; brother Richard "Dick" Evans of Glenwood, MO; sister Fern Johnson of Queen City, MO; many other family and friends. Service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 28 at Glenwood Cemetery, Hwy 202, Glenwood, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his daughter Julie McGregor, son Rick Evans, parents Bill and Cora Evans, and sister Hazel Whitlow.
