Blubaugh, James Delmer, 95, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to Earl Elmer Blubaugh and Clella Mabel (Smith) Blubaugh. In 1947, he was married to Juanita Fae Kincaid at the Pleasant Grove Church. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served as an Electrician Mate First Class aboard the Battleship Nevada. He was a life member of AMVETS of Hutchinson. He was a member of the Burrton United Methodist Church. He was a member and Past President of the USD 369 Burrton School Board. He was a Past Master and a 74 year member of the Mount Hope Masonic Lodge, The Scottish Rite and a 32nd KCCH Degree Member, a member of the Midian Shrine of Wichita, past Captain of Midian Antique Auto Club, 1994 he was District Deputy guard Master of the Grand Lodge of Kansas and a member of the Masonic High Twelve of Hutchinson. In 1995 and 1996 he served as Area District Deputy and he received the Outstanding Mason Award.. He is survived by his wife Juanita Blubaugh, daughter Dixie Brown, Indiana, son V. J. Blubaugh and wife Susan, Haven, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren as well as a sister Earlene Zimmerman, Salina and Joan Rutkowski of Wichita. He is preceded in death by son-in-law Tom Brown. Services 10 am, Saturday, May 11, at Burrton United Methodist Church, Burrton, KS. Private burial at Star Cemetery.
