Becker, James Ellis, 88, retired Airgas Branch Manager, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He was born in Montezuma, Kansas to Peter P. Becker and Martha (Unruh) Becker. He was a veteran of World War II and served as a Surgical Technician in the Army. He retired as a District Manager for AirGas Carbon Dioxide Division after a 40 year career. He is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Steven (Dana) Becker of Keller, Texas; daughter, Jeannette (Kelley) Coley of Sedgwick; grandchildren, Sarah Kearns, Stephanie Hunt, Staci Kearns and James Becker; great grandchildren, Adrian Hunt, Liddyah Snow and Levi Snow; brother, Tony Becker of Aurora, Colorado; sisters, Darlene (Leonard) Peaster of Atwater, California, Winona Blosser, and Isabelle (Raoul) Castillo of Wichita, Ks. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Floyd, Marvin, LeRoy and Delbert, and sister Hannah Prichett. Visitation with family 10 – 11 a.m., Saturday, February 9, with Services at 11:30 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center.
