Jacqueline Dell Montelongo, 50, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to James Daniel Hoffine and Jerri (Brink) Hoffine. She was a lifelong resident of the Valley Center Community where she attended school, was a 1990 Valley Center High School graduate and was involved in many activities. After graduation she received her Nursing Degree from Kansas Newman in 1996. On September 2, 2000, she married the love of her life, Josue Montelongo. They remained in the Valley Center area where they raised their family.

As ENC Director of Nursing for many facilities, one facility was given the award as best in Kansas. She enjoyed her time traveling to nursing homes all over the State of Kansas to help with improvement of their care.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 22 years, Josue Montelongo; son Dakota Hoffine; daughter Sarah Montelongo; her mother Jerri Hoffine and sister Jonna Hoffine; many other family and friends . She was preceded in death by her father Jim Hoffine.

A service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, at the First United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park, Valley Center, Kansas with Dr. Ji Seok Ju and Rev. Jan McDaniel officiating.
