Jackie Ray Houseberg 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. in Wichita Kansas.  He was born in Wichita Kansas to Maxine (Gordon) Houseberg and Jack M Houseberg. His parents both preceded him in death.  He attended North High School in Wichita.  His career as a cement finisher was with the USD 259 School District where he retired from.

He was a lifelong Oklahoma Football Sooner fan.  Game days were big.  Jack's family and friends would have a great time, which were filled with a lot of fun. This sometimes conflicted with his attendance to the Winfield Bluegrass Festival with Banned Camp every year in September. Somehow he always managed to at least watch the football games on television or attend the game.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Karen (TenBarge) Houseberg and his children Jessica (Houseberg) Jones and her husband Heath of Rose Hill, KS and Kristopher Houseberg and his wife Brooke (Brownlee) Houseberg of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren: Grace Jones, Hayden Houseberg and Huxton Houseberg; his sister: Pam (Houseberg) Lipton of Andover; other family and friends.
