Jack F. Sage passed away on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at the Hospice House in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born Wednesday, December 13th, 1939 in Buena Vista, Colorado.

Jack is survived by his son John (Shelley) Sage of Grand Junction, Colorado, daughter Sheri (Randy) Carter of Hutchinson, Kansas; grandchildren: Amber (Ben) Hornbeck and Justin Carter both of Hutchinson, Kansas; four great grandchildren: Jayden Carter, Carter Hornbeck, Abigail Carter and Henry Carter; many nieces, nephews and a cousin.

Jack was born to John and Alma (Zimmerman) Sage in Colorado where he was raised. He was a graduate from Montrose High School. After graduation he went into the Navy for 4 years. His career was with the Bureau of Reclamation in Montrose, Colorado from 1969-1997.

He enjoyed many outdoor activities with his family and friends going hunting, fishing, white water rafting, camping and hot air ballooning.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dixie Ficklin and brother Ron Sage.
