Iris Marie Schweer, 90, passed away November 25 ^th , 2020 in Valley Center Kansas.

She was born in Mount Hope Kansas to John and Golda (Crocker) Stinebaugh.

She was a life long resident of Valley Center, she attended schools and was a graduate of North High School. After graduation, she worked on a farm where she met her husband, Gail. She was a nurse for many years at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She raised three beautiful daughters while enjoying gardening, being outdoors, and being the owner of an antique store with her daughter, Becky. In the later years of her life she helped raise her 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild while enjoying going to church at the First Church of God in Valley Center and going to as many sports games for her grandchildren as possible.

Iris is preceeded in death by her parents, John and Golda Stinebaugh, her brother Jack Stinebaugh, her sister Audrey Dejong, and her daughter Debra Pollock.

She is survived by her husband, Gail Schweer, her daughters Becky Costner (Mike) and Cathy Ouellette (Michael), her sisters Kay Snow (Russell) and Perry Wright, her grandchildren Travis Pollock, Matt Pollock (Brenda), Cortney Pollock, Adrien Ouellette, Whitney Ouellette, and her great grandchild Leiland; many other family and friends.

Graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 12010 W. 109 ^th St N. and N. 119 ^th St W., Bentley, Kansas.
