IRENE FERN (DOZIER) COX

80, of Andover, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Irene was born in Lone Elm, Kansas. She married William E. 'Bill' Cox in February, 1955, choosing a vocation as wife and mother. She is preceded in death by Bill her beloved husband and brothers Marvin, Mike and Vic Dozier. She leaves three children Paula (Cox) Bolton with her husband Roger of Wichita, Randy Cox, wife Bobbi, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and Terri (Cox) Faure and husband Shawn of Allen, Texas. Irene also leaves eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, February 11, at Northside Church of Christ, 4545 N. Meridian Ave, Wichita, Kansas. She will be laid to rest 3 p.m., at the Elsmore Cemetery, Elsmore, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated in her memory to the "Know Your Bible" Northside Church of Christ, 4545 N.
