WICHITA, KS
Hoover, Herbert Lee, 82, Hoover Ditching and Excavating owner, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Braxton Barkley Hoover and Ila Myrtle Adcock. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a World War II Veteran. He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia (Robert) Mackey, Cinda (Stephen) Pray and Bonita (Michael) Fieser, all of Wichita; son-in-law, Massoud Tehrani; sister, Freeda (Warren) Branning of Conway, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris J. Hoover; daughters, Regina Tehrani and Lisa Thompson-Williams; son, Rudy Joe Fast; grandson Vincent Pray; his parents Braxton and Ila Hoover, and sister, Hazel Martin. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, September 26; Services 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27, both will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center.
