Helen Louise Phillips, born on New Year’s Eve in 1940, passed away on April 1, 2026. A woman of boundless dreams and an unyielding spirit, she met every challenge with a smile and fought with courage until the very end.

A master of her craft, Helen found peace and joy in woodworking. Her intricate intarsia pieces were a testament to her patience and eye for beauty. When she wasn't in her workshop, she was often seen in her favorite Disney scrubs—a reflection of her playful heart and the lighthearted joy she brought to her daily work.

Helen’s greatest legacy is her family. While she loved all her children deeply, there is profound comfort in knowing she is now reunited with the child who went before her. She worked tirelessly every day to provide and care for her loved ones, proving that her strength was matched only by her devotion.

Helen was an irreplaceable force of nature. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her to keep dreaming, keep fighting, and stay positive, just as she did for 85 wonderful years.
