Cummings, Helen Jean (Conner) , 81, surrounded by her loving family, she was welcomed into our Savior's loving arms on Friday, January 23, 2015. She was born July 12, 1933 in Wichita, Kansas to Raymond Chesterfield Conner and Anna Belle (Berry) Conner. She retired from Wesley Hospital and she had also worked a number of years at Jack Smith's Shoe Repair in Wichita. Helen is survived by her daughters Susan (Harold) Palmer of Park City, Shirley (Gene) Parrish of Valley Center and Nancy Cummings of Wichita; grandchildren, Robert (Kim) Palmer, Chris Palmer, Chad Palmer, Shauna (Joe) White, Darla (Tim) Vaughn, Brandi Jenson; great grandchildren, Kayla, Meghan, Jarrod, Serena and Gabbigale; her cat Misty; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and best friend Ed; parents Raymond and Anna Belle Conner, sisters Maxine Raymor Evelyn Buckley and Margaret Sipult, brothers Fred Conner, Chester Conner and infant brother. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 1024 W. 53rd N., Wichita, Kansas.
