Zang, Hazel Marie (Piper), 98, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011. She was born in Florence, Kansas to Henry William Piper and Margaret (Giffler) Piper. She is survived by her daughters, Bonny Ballinger of Wichita, Sherilyn (Tom) Blake of Derby and Bernadine Masters of Wichita; sister-in-law, Ruby Piper of El Dorado; numerous grandchildren, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Zang; granddaughter, Renea Davis; great granddaughter, Megan Fletcher; great grandson Beau Blake; parents; brothers, William, Andrew and Paul Piper; sisters, Mamie Hurst and Buelah Davis. Services 11 a.m., Friday, December 23, at the Sunset Lawn Cemetery, El Dorado. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Homestead Health Center, 2133 S. Elizabeth, Wichita, Ks 67213 and Rivercross Hospice, 251 S. Whittier St, Wichita, Ks 67207. Condolences may be left on her guestbook at www.bakerfhvc.com.
