HARVEY WATSON DOOLEN, JR., 82, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016. He was born in Quapaw, Olahoma to Harvey W. Doolen, Sr. and Gladys (Herring) Doolen. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran. On May 16, 1953, he married the love of his life, Francis. Harvey loved his family and enjoyed watching his boys in sports and other activities. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Francis Doolen; his children King and Linda Doolen, Don and Susan Doolen, Harvey and Sheri Doolen, and Sheila Doolen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother-in-law Herman Miner; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Danny Doolen, brothers and parents.

Visitation 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, will be held at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Graveside at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas with the Dr. Chuck Terrill officiating.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
