68, retired Westar Machinist, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. He was born in Herington, Kansas to Herman and Norma Mae (Laubhan) Winter. He was a graduate of Plato High School, Plato, Missouri. He was a U.S. Navy and Vietnam War Veteran. He is survived by his wife Katherine Winter; sons Jeffrey Winter and Kendall (Stephanie) Winter, all of Peabody; grandchildren Zachary Stephey, Mya Winter and Adyson Winter; brother Dale (Debra) Winter of Peabody; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant sister Shirley. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, at Baker Funeral Home, Peabody.
