HAROLD  THACKER,  JR. , 62, known to his friends and family as 'Corky' passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019, after a fierce battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold Sr. and Thelma (Rosentiel) Thacker and older brother Bill.

He is survived by his loving wife Eula; 4 children, Joshua (Dianna), Crystal (Travis), Nathan (Tanisha), and Shawn; his beloved 10 grandchildren, Jacob, Grayson, Kaylee, Carson, Royce, Rollin, Ethan, Gavin, Morgan and Aubrey; brother Ricky (Jill); sisters Patricia & Linda; many other family and friends.

Harold was a proud truck driver who hauled for McGill Trucking Company. He lived his life dedicated to others, and was truly a selfless man. His spare time was spent assembling model cars, camping, boating and devoting his time to his best friends, his grandchildren and family. Harold will be greatly missed.

Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 9 at Faith Church, 325 N. Emporia, Valley Center, Kansas with Visitation before the service at 10.  Memorials may be designated in his memory to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Ks 67202  and/or  Faith Church, 325 N. Emporia, Valley Center, Ks 67147.
