Russell, Harold Ellis, 91, retired Milling Precision Tool, Inc. owner, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 to join his wife of 55 years, Ruth Ilene (Marsh) Russell who also passed away on Easter Monday, 15 years ago. He was born in Altoona, Kansas to Charley Ellis Russell and Sadie (Carver) Russell. Harold served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II Veteran. He is survived by his companion, D.J. Sell; daughters, Carolyn Russell, Barbara Piotrowski and Kathie (Virgil) Miller, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Kristi (Mark) Franks, Shannon (Michael) Johnson, Stephany Boomershine, Leslee (Scott) Freund, Joanna Zywicki, Russell Locks and Jesse (Angie) Locks; great grandchildren, Logan Wohlford, Katie Wohlford, Hunter Boomershine, Abigail Franks, Becky Franks, Ian Johnson, Adria Johnson, Collin Zywicki, and Landon Freund; brother, Dale (Ann) Russell of Neodshea; sister-in-law, Cleo Marsh Kimzey of Olathe; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ruth Ilene (Marsh) Russell, granddaughter Stacie Piotrowski, brother Floyd Russell, sisters, Laverna Hyde, Dorothy Deshasier and Edith Russell. Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 5 at Kansas Masonic Home Chapel, 401 S. Seneca, Wichita. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Resthaven Gardens, 11800 W.
