Harold Eastman, 84 of Valley Center, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.  He was one of seven children born to Merle and Etta Eastman. Born in Dodge City, Harold was raised in Cimarron where he excelled in track, football and basketball. He had many track records that held for a long time. Harold left high school to join the army in 1955. He was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas and was honorably discharged from the service and reserves in 1961.  Harold was united in marriage to Carolyn Coffman at the First United Methodist Church of Valley Center in 1961. To this union were three children, Jeffrey, Allison and Melissa.  Harold was employed at the Farmers Elevator in Valley Center, Fleming Foods and most recently Leeker's Family Foods.  He was an avid sports fan and 'the number one fan' of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Harold is survived by his wife Carolyn of the home, son Jeffrey (Teressa) of El Dorado, daughters Allison and Melissa (Rickey) of Valley Center; grandchildren, Savanna Harris, Branch Harris and Syrina Harris; two great granddaughters Nzuri Gill and Gianna Gill; sisters Betty Cross of Texas and Waneta Wilson of Colorado; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.

Graveside Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 5, at the Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita,. Kansas.
