HARLEY PAUL ROBINSON, 95, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. He was born in Peabody, Kansas on April 7, 1922 to Marvin and Trassie Robinson. He retired at the age of 55 from Cassel Trucking and then began his own hydraulic jack repair business out of his home. Harley absolutely loved dancing, KU and WSU basketball and Kansas City Royals baseball. He especially enjoyed his McDonald's coffee with the guys, yet his greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his daughters Carol (Jimmy) Brockman, Becky (Robert) Schippers, Georganna Robinson; grandchildren Ronnie (Taryn) Brockman, Jennifer Brockman (Frank Herrera), Kara (Andrew) Myers, Meghan Schippers, Haleyanna Schippers; great grandchildren Gregory, Eric, Breanna, Tayla and Nolan; sister Hazel (Paul) Swangel; special friend and dancing partner Doris Koker; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carolyn, infant son Ritchie, son Dale, brothers Harold, Harry, Howard, Hubert, John, sister Helen and son-in-law Kent Robinson. Viewing will be held on Friday, December 29 at 9 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 10 a.m., at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Graveside will follow at 1 p.m., in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, 900 N. Marquette, Kingman, Ks. Memorials may be designated in his memory to Starkey, Inc., 4500 W. Maple, Wichita, Ks 67209.
