HARLENE RAE (WHITE) HOWEY , 65, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 9, 2018. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Harlan Dean White and Wennoah (Dimon) White. She was raised in the Maize, Kansas area and was a 1970 graduate of Maize High School. Harlene had a great love for animals and at a young age began her career of training and showing Equine which in turn teaching others who loved them also. Her gift transformed many people and horses to be at the top of performance and show. Her love for the Lord would shine through her in all she did. She was a longtime member of Faith Church where she enjoyed serving through music and many other areas. Harlene is survived by her husband of 44 years, Butch Howey; brother Steve (Charlotte) White of Mt. Hope; nieces Kim (Terry) Carr, Shawn White; nephew Tomy (Shellie) White; sisters-in-law Shirley (Max) Stuever; Yvette Howey, Beverly Oliver; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mom Wennoah White, dad Harlan and Lavonne White, brother Randy White and brother-in-law Bob Howey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated in her memory to Faith Church Missions, PO Box 274, Valley Center, Ks 67147. Service will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, June 23, at Faith Church, 325 N. Emporia, Valley Center. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
