Patterson, H. Clay, 57, Oronthologist, Park Ranger and former Leekers Floral driver, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013. He was born in Rogersville, Missouri, to John Jacob Patterson and Cecilia Mona (Ellis) Patterson. Clay loved the outdoors with great care and preservation by serving as a Park Ranger at the Grand Canyon and the Flint Hills Tallgrass Wildlife Prairie National Preserve. He was a master chef for his family whom he loved dearly. Clay is survived by wife, Debi Patterson; children, Stephany (Adam) Bailey of Wichita, Robert (Sara) Brown of Wichita; grandchildren, Trey, Dalton, Kyla, Raegan, Rylan and Brady; brother-in-laws, Charlie Decatur of Wichita, Dale Decatur of Salida, CO; sister-in-law Billie Kilgore of Jasper, AR; many cousins and friends that loved him much. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Cecilia Patterson and his brother Melvin Patterson. Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, at Cornerstone Christian Church, 5531 E. 37th St. N., Bel Aire, Ks. Private Family burial at Springhill Cemetery, Rogersville – Pedlo, Missouri.
