GORDON GAINES HOLT, 86, retired Sedgwick County Courthouse and Sheriff's Department Mail Carrier, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born in Iowa Park, Texas to William E. Holt and Eva Leora (Simpkins) Holt. Gordon lived in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas after retirement. He is survived by his son Kenneth Holt of Wichita; sister Mae Brown of Andover; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Mildred Holt, son Gordon Scott Holt, daughter Angela Wade, brother James Holt, sister Pauline Tompkins, parents William and Eva Holt.  He will be laid to rest at Highland Park, Cemetery, Borger, Texas.
