Gordon S. Fitz John, 98, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022.  He was born in Neosho, Missouri to James Franklin Fitz John and Gladys (Higganbotham) Fitz John. Having been raised in the Neosho area where she attended school and was a graduate of Neosho High School.  Gordon served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII Veteran.  He married the love of his life Imogene on September 15, 1946.  He retired from Cessna Aircraft. After retirement with his mechancial gift he helped others by having a lawnmower business working and fixing lawnmowers.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wylma Imogene Fitz John, son Carol and daughter-in-law Jennifer, parents James and Gladys, brothers Ronald and Charles, sisters Miria Pound, Shirley Reding and Phyllis McClary.

Gordon is survived by his daughter Brenda (Steve) Frame of Wichita, grandchildren Brendan (Lesley) Frame, Kim (Jeremy) Menges and Stephanie (Jedidiah) Seeley; great grandchildren Kyler Menges, Kayson Menges, Garrett Seely and Brianne Seely; other family and friends.

Service 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 7, at Maize Park Cemetery, 12733 W. 53rd St N., Maize, Kansas.
