Gloria Ann Nailor (nee Lund) (1928-2025) died peacefully in her sleep in Sedgwick, Kansas, on February 22nd, 2025, little more than a month short of her 97th birthday. A life-long card player, she was still winning at cards in the last week before her death!

Gloria was born in 1928 in Laurens, Iowa, to Cecil and Gracia (Gay) Lund (near Cecil's adoptive Swedish parents, Albert and Emily); Gloria was the first of their three children. Although she moved around the country through her various life adventures (including travel agent and shop owner), Gloria lived much of her life in Holstein, Iowa, near her parents whom she deeply loved and cared for until their deaths in their late 90s. She recently moved to Wichita with her son Michael Nailor and his wife Jennifer.

Gloria is survived by her brother, Dean Lund of Denver, Colorado (Sally Lund); her daughters Vicki Noble in Santa Cruz, California, Susan Gladwin in Estes Park, Colorado, and Mindy Ehler in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, (spouse Dan Ehler), and her son Michael Nailor in Wichita, Kansas (spouse Jennifer Nailor). In addition, Gloria had eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family is planning a reunion to celebrate Gloria's life and memories in Denver, Colorado, sometime later this year.
