Gillette, Gilbert Loren, 66, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was born in Fredonia, Kansas to Alan Leroy Gillette and Dorothy Gertrude (Stewart) Gillette. He served as a Sonar and Radio Mechanic in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He is survived by his sisters, Connie Gillette of Blue Springs, Missouri, Rowena Shue of Hutchinson, and brother Malcom (Karin) Gillette of Hutchinson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Dorothy Gillette; sister, Kay Gillette and brother, William Gillette. Private family burial at Fredonia Cemetery, Fredonia, Kansas. Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
