Geraldine "Geri" Williams, age 71, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

Born on July 9, 1953, in England, Geri lived a life marked by compassion, service, and a deep love for animals. She dedicated many years to the U.S. Census Bureau and previously contributed her time and care to animal rescue organizations—work that reflected her lifelong devotion to animals.

At home, Geri was a loving companion to her cherished pets: Seven, Jazz, and Lily. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional and volunteer efforts, touching the lives of her family and friends.

Geri was preceded in death by her mother, Joy Blair; father, Ray Williams (USAF); brother, Kevin Williams; and nephew, Derek Williams.

She is survived by her stepfather Dan Blair; sisters Loretta Brown, Tenesa Munal, and Martha; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth and generous heart.

Cremation has taken place with Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center, Kansas.

In honor of Geri's love for animals, memorial donations may be made to The Wichita Animal Shelters—a cause close to her heart.
