Gerald Ray “Goob” Dyck, 71, of McPherson, passed away on May 12, 2026.

For more than 50 years, he dedicated his hard work and commitment to McPherson Concrete Products, where he built not only a respected career, but also lasting friendships and admiration from those who knew him. Gerald was known for his incredible strength, hardworking spirit, and the kindness he showed to everyone around him. His quick wit and sense of humor could brighten any room, and he never failed to make others laugh with one of his many unforgettable stories. A talented mechanic who could fix just about anything, he took great pride in working with his hands and helping others whenever he could. Above all, Gerald cherished his family and the time spent with those he loved most.

Gerald is survived by his sons, Phillip Dyck, Eric Dyck, and Perry Petersen (Brittany); his daughter, Stacie Griffin (Wesley); his sister, Jeanette Dyck; and his beloved grandchildren, Jake, Garrett, Kalyn, Addie, Hunter, and Harden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Luella Dyck; his wife, Cindie Dyck; and his brother, Bob Dyck.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Gerald will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
