Riley, George William, 82, retired Victor L Phillips mechanic, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. He was a lifetime member of the 81 Speedway Hall of Fame and had a great love for racing. George was a U.S. Army and Korean War Veteran. He is survived by his children, Garry (Stacey) Riley of Valley Center, Edward C. Riley of Topeka, and Ginger (Jack) Lamb of Wichita; grandchildren, Tiffany Riley, Cameron Riley and Lacey Riley; sister, Bonnie Scott of Wichita; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Riley, parents John and Josephine Riley, brothers, Milton, John and James, and sisters, Edna, Mary and Pauline. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Friday, August 3, at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Services 10 a.m., August 4, at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Wichita. Memorials may be designated to the ARC of Sedgwick County, 2919 W. 2nd N, Wichita, Ks 67203. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
