Johnson, George Wilbert , 81, retired heavy equipment operator, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015. He was born in Eureka, Kansas to Willie Merle Johnson and Grace (Stephens) Johnson. He was a U.S. Army and Korean War Veteran. George is survived by his sons Charles (Bonnie) Johnson of Valley Center and Michael (Amy) Johnson of Eureka; 14 grandchildren; other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Winnie Johnson, daughter Carolyn Carroll, brother Bill Johnson, his parents Willie and Grace Johnson. Family services will be held.
