GEORGE ROBERT HILL  91, passed away December 26, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 2nd at Family Church, 11135 W. Kellogg, Wichita. Burial will follow at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, with a luncheon at Kechi City Hall Building. He was born in Leon, Kansas on December 29, 1923, to George Allen and Nellie Mae Hill and grew up in Augusta and Wichita. He served under General Patton at the Battle of the Bulge during World War 2 and after the war worked in the sheet-metal industry and then retired from the Kansas Coliseum in 1990. Preceded in death by son George D. Hill, he is survived by his wife Donna of 52 years and sons Roger and Ronald Hill of Wichita, Pete & Lloydena Wentz of Denton, Texas, Mel & Lia Brashers of Park City and step-daughter Glenda Carpenter of Kansas City. He had 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other acquaintances who love and miss him dearly. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center.
