Gene Wayne Warren, 81 of Sedgwick, Kansas passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.  He was born in West Monroe, Louisiana, son of Claude Densley Warren, Sr. and Candance Daisey (Hobgood) Warren-Wiens.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donnitta R. Warren; son Dillon Warren, daughters Dakota Warren, Sherrie (Alan) Nelson, Shelly (Eric) McManus, Rhonda (Tracy) Posey and Debbie (Steve) Evans; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren;  many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.  He was preceded by his parents, siblings Claude Jr, Thelma, Hazel, Carl, Freddie Jo, Billie Ray, Teddy and Eddy.

Gene enjoyed fishing, loved his guitars, yet his greatest love was his family.
