Nightingale, Gaylon Ray, 65, retired Mitchell–Brittian Machine Shop, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013. He was born in Newton, Kansas to Lural Loyd Nightingale and Rebecca Mae (Koehn) Nightingale. Gaylon loved his family, woodworking and friends. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Nightingale of Halstead; his wife, Linda Nightingale; children, Janene (Doug) Risenhoover of Cushing, Oklahoma and Larry (Candee) Nightingale of McPherson; brother, Dale Nightingale of Hesston; sisters, Ramona Hill of Halstead and Lavonne Nightingale of Concordia; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Nightingale.. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, and Services 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, both will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S.
