GARY LYNN MCCUTCHEON , 70, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 8, 2017. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Ralph William McCutcheon and Ida Violet (Anderson) McCutcheon. He was a 1964 graduate of Heights High School, Wichita. He attended Ottawa University and Friends University, graduating in 1969 with his Bachelor of Science. Gary met the love of his life during this time. They have enjoyed serving together in many areas of life for 50 years of marriage. He was an triathlete, "avid sailor" which they loved sailing and traveling together. Gary taught science and coached for about 10 years. He then went on to own and operate Wichita Appliance Service for 43 years. He had a great love for serving others and ministering at Riverlawn Christian Church. Gary is survived by his wife BJ McCutcheon; children Todd (Pam) McCutcheon, Mandi (Mark) Corliss and Wang (Li); grandchildren Wesley (Samantha) McCutcheon, Zachary Wang, Malachi Corliss, Cale Corliss, Cosette Corliss, Sadie Corliss, Isaac Corliss, Dietrich Corliss and Finn Corliss; brother Clyde (Le) McCutcheon; in-laws Dana (Carol) Plamann and Kim (Brett) Hart; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandson Max William McCutcheon, sister Mercedes Dobbins, brother David McCutcheon, parents Ralph and Ida McCutcheon. Visitation 1:00 p.m. and Service 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11, at Riverlawn Christian Church, Wichita. Memorials in his memory have been established with Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N.
