Obituary

WICHITA, KANSAS

GARY  LYNN  COOK, "Midnight Rider" , 66, retired Mechanic and OTR Truck Driver, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Donal Otho Cook and Wanda Ann Janice (Hall) Cook Parsons. His passion was for Harley Davidson and all sports, especially the Dolphins. He was a generous and all around good guy, always there for family and friends. He had a great appreciation and love for his family.

Gary is survived by the love of his life Debora Cook; son Joshua (Tiffany) Cook; grandchildren Rhiley Cook, Dominyck Cook and Alisha (Chandler) Williams; great grandchild Montana Williams; Mother Wanda Parsons; brother Wesley (Shannon) Cook; sisters Joy (Doug) Gerber, Donna (Kelly) Fincannon, Raeann (Wesley) Howard; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his dad Donal Cook, son Keith Lynn Cook, brothers Ronald Dale Cook and D. Leslie Cook.

Visitation 5-7 p.m., Friday, February 15 and Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 16, both held at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Memorials , in lieu of flowers, may be designated in his memory to the Wichita Toy Run, PO Box 537, Derby, Ks 67037 and B.A.C.A. KS Chapter, PO Box 2096, Wichita, Ks 67201.
