GARNELLE  C.  BRAYFIELD, 94, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015, following a lengthy illness.  She was a past member of the Park City Park Board, served as the Commodities Coordinator for the Park City area, held several posts in the Park City VFW Auxiliary, served as Treasurer for the Park City Senior Center and volunteered in several capacities. She retired from Sedgwick County Mental Health in Wichita. She is survived by her daughter, Karin Brown of Mill City, OR and son, Michael Brayfield (Joan) of Park City; grandsons, John Mix of Denver, CO, Brian Brayfield (Julie) of Wichita, Brad Brayfield of Norman, OK, Matt Brayfield (Emily) of San Diego, CA; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her spouse, Marion H. Brayfield Jr; granddaughter, Teresa Cross; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Brayfield; son-in-law, Dennis Brown and 4 sisters.  A private graveside service will be held at Kechi Township Cemetery, Wichita.  In lieu of flowers we request that memorials be sent to Park City Senior Center or Interim Hospice Care.  Baker Funeral Home Valley Center.
