Galen Keith DeWeese, 75, retired Coleman Driver, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015. He was born in Dale, Warrick County, Indiana to William Martin DeWeese and Madge Edith (Kerr) DeWeese. After High School graduation, Galen went on to Votech and he also served in the U.S. Air Force. On May 6, 1964, he married Patsy Lou Butler, who preceded him in death this past December, 2014. He is survived by his children David DeWeese of Wichita, Judy (Korey) Jennings of Joplin, Missouri, Gaylen (Scott) Phillips of Wichita, Andriza James of Wichita, and James Butler of Wichita; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Judy (Wally) Cheridan of Plano, Texas; many other family and friends. He was preceded by his wife Patsy, parents William and Madge DeWeese, brother Buddy and sister Valerie. Private Family Services will be held.
