Gail F. Schroeder, 73, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in Paramount Care Home, Newton, Kansas.  He was born in Halstead, Kansas to Menno and Louise (Regier) Schroeder.  He was a lifelong resident of Sedgwick, Kansas where he attended schools, was a 1959 graduate of Sedgwick High School.

He was a Jack of all Trades from Milkman, Carpenter, Home Builder and Semi owner OTR Trucker transporting all over the U.S. and Canada. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family and friends.  Gail was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church, American Legion Riders Post 268, Sons of the Legion, The Shrine in Wichita and Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Newton.

He is preceded in death by his parents Menno and Louise Schroeder, daughter Lori Porter and son Damon Schroeder.

Gail is survived by his wife Wilma, brother Earl, grandson Aaron Porter, three great grandsons Braxton, Trinity and Rivers, many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service  will be held at a later date. Memorials may be designated in his memory to the Sons of the Legion Post 268 in Sedgwick, Kansas 67135.
