Obituary

Frances was born the last of 3 children to Claude and Verda Dean in Wichita Kansas. She graduated from Wichita North High School, then went on to have a long career at the telephone company, Southwestern Bell. She married Glen Miracle in 1955. Together with family and friends, they enjoyed camping, water skiing and other outdoor activities. Frances took a mid-career break to raise her only child Earlene, then returned to work at the phone company for a combined total of 35 years of service.

She married Hal Gentry in 1978. They enjoyed traveling with friends to the Bahamas, Texas, and New Mexico among other places. They also loved spending time with their grandchildren Travis and Millie.

In retirement, Frances enjoyed garage sales, adding to her numerous collections, and spending time with family. She and her sister Irene volunteered at the Red Cross for many years.

Frances was always on the go. If anyone asked her to go, she would say "Yes" before asking where.

Frances is survived by her sister Irene McColm, brother Earl Dean, daughter Earlene Miracle, grandchildren Travis (Haley) Witt and Millie (Alex) Covert and many other family and friends.
