FLORITA ANN DAVIS 'FLO ANN', 75, was born in Wichita, Kansas, on September 22, 1940 to Elzava and Mable (Fanning) Carter. She passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 in Haysville, Kansas. Flo Ann was raised in Valley Center, Kansas. There were eleven Carter children, and she was the seventh child. She graduated from Valley Center High School in 1958. In 1969 she married Earl Davis. Flo Ann worked at Continental Grill, YMCA and retired from Raytheon Aircraft. She was a people person and always had a big heart. Some of her life enjoyments were bowling, fishing, gambling with her sisters and enjoying her family. Those who knew her remembered her well and those who didn't missed knowing a wonderful person. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Nellie Fanning, her parents Elzava and Mable Carter, husband Earl Davis, her brothers William 'Bill' Carter, James 'Jim' Carter and Larry Carter. Flo Ann is survived by six sisters, Beulah Rader of Haysville, Rogene Brown of Kingman, Bonnie House, Betty Kennedy and Karen Williams of Valley Center and Mary Pruitt of Topeka, and one brother, Robert Carter of Augusta. She was loved by many nieces, nephews and good friends Jerry and Susan LaForge.

Graveside Service will be held 10:00 am., Friday, July 29, 2016 at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas. Memorials may be designated in her memory to Interim Hospice, 333 S. Broadway Ste 104, Wichita, Ks 67202 and/or Diversicare Haysville, 215 N. Lamar, Haysville, Ks 67060. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center is assisting the family.
