80, of Wichita, Kansas, (formerly of Valley Center) passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017. She was born in Buffalo, New York to Richard James Ward and Evelyn (Nischik) Ward. She had worked at McConnell Air Force Base as a civil servant. On August 28, 1954 in Buffalo, New York she married Richard Carlton Pugh, he precedes her. She then married Floyd 'Tom' Newton. She is survived by her sons Kevin R. Newton and Martin (Pat) Pugh of Wichita; grandchildren, Martin, Jennifer, Jeffrey and Sara; sister Dell Knell; many other family and friends.
