EUGENE L. CHEEK, 62, retired passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was born at Baltimore Maryland to Otis Mack Cheek and Rosemary (Johnson) Cheek. He loved to joke and tease people. He loved and enjoyed playing his harmonica, wearing his cowboy hats and watching westerns. He blessed many people with his special love and joy. He is survived by his sisters Debbie Cheek, Crystal Nichols and Abeline Ogden; brother Thomas Cheek; guardian Gina Flood; nieces and nephews, Penny Swarts, Trenton Cheek, Derek Knight, Daren Knight, Mattison Knight, Haylee Nichols, Carsen Nichols, Devin Summers, Kensley Swarts, Kelton Swarts, Tyler Cheek, Traye Cheek and Kortney Cheek; uncle Larry Cheek; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Otis and Rosmary Cheek. A Celebration of Life Service will be held by family. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center.
