Etta 'Marie' Barndt, 79, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020. She was born in Winchester, Kansas to Robert and Leota (Witaker) Meliza.  She had a gift of making ladies beautiful as a beautician. Marie also was a registered medical assistant. She was a beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister and friend. Her greatest joy was being with her family.

She is survived by her husband William; children Robert Barndt, Jonathen Barndt and Kathryn Fiechtl; grandchildren Zackery Fiechtl, Trever Fiechtl and Austin Fiechtl; brothers Robert Jr., Oliver, Claude and Jim Jr; sisters Sharon and Clar; many other family and friends. She was preceded by her parents Robert and Leota Meliza, and Jim Sr.
