ETHEL  BERTHA  (ATWOOD)   FITZPATRICK , 94, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 in Newton, Kansas. She was born in Lebanon, Kansas to Charlie Atwood and Bertha (Herendon) Atwood. She married the love of her life Linis E. Fitzpatrick on September 12, 1948 in Salina, Kansas. She was a beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed family time playing games, dancing, singing and music. Her greatest joy was her grandkids and just taking time with her family.

Ethel is preceded in death by her husband Linis, stepson Herbert, parents Charlie & Bertha Atwood, brothers Dean, Raymond, Ted & Marion, sister Edith, and granddaughter Heather Shaw. She is survived by her son & his wife, Jimmie & Vickie Fitzpatrick, daughter-in-law Lynna Beach; 3 grandchildren, Bruce Fitzpatrick, Lee Fitzpatrick, Shannon Baker; 11 great grandchildren,  2 great great grandchildren; brother Walter Atwood and sister Floy Lamney; many other family and friends.

Visitation 5-7 pm, Thursday and Service will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 27 both at Baker Funeral Home Wichita Chapel, 6100 E. Central, Wichita.
