Roberts, Ernest Eugene , 80, Roberts TV & Appliances owner and former Cessna Aircraft Supervisor, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015. He was born in Bentley, Kansas to Ernest Roberts and Edith (Boerger) Roberts. He was a graduate of Bentley High School, Bentley, Kansas. On August 9, 1953, he married the love of his life, Bessie Hudson. He has been a long time business owner in Valley Center who enjoyed his job. He also enjoyed his family. Gene is survived by his wife Bessie; sons, Wayne (Laura) Roberts of Valley Center, Dale Roberts of Valley Center, Jim (Susan) Roberts of Bentley; grandchildren James (Dawn) Roberts, Victoria Roberts, Andrew (Tamara) Roberts, Christina Roberts and Tami Roberts; 11 great grandchildren; sister Carolyn Doyle of Newton; brother Carl (Connie) Roberts of AZ. He is preceded by his grandchildren Emily Roberts and Dustan Roberts, father Ernest Roberts, mother Edith Carmichael, sisters Ernestine Bankowski and Dorothy Van Dorn.

Visitation 5-7 p.m, Tuesday, May 12 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Service 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, at Pleasant Valley Church, 12002 W. 109th N., Bentley.
