Carlile, Emma Mae (Price), 79, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012. She was a Maize School District cook for twenty-two years. She is survived by her daughters, Verna Leighty and husband Dale of Las Animas,CO, Christina Smith and husband John of Allen, TX and Kennetha Jespers of Burbank, CA; grandchildren, Justin Leighty, Quentin Leighty, Rachelle Jespers, Brian Leighty and John P. Smith; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Everett (Beverly) Price, Jim (Rue) Price; sister, Vesta Rhodes; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vern Carlile, parents, Dallas and Cora Belle (Blaker) Price, and brother-in-law, Guy Rhodes. Visitation 9-10 a.m. before Service 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 19, Maize United Methodist Church, Maize. Interment following the service at the Maize Park Cemetery, 12733 W. 53rd St. N., Maize.
