Lawrence, Elwood Ellis, 83, retired Building Contractor, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013. He was born in Nashville, Kansas to John Henry Lawrence and Greeta B. (Schiff) Lawrence. He is survived by his wife, Bernita; daughters, Carla Anderson of Wichita, Debbie (Doug) Hullman of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Lisa Lawrence of Wichita; grandchildren, Megan Anderson, Kaitlyn Anderson, Erica (Cory) Evans, Danielle Hullman, Macy Hullman, Kinsey Hullman, Levi Brown and Lexi Lawrence; brothers Dallas (Patty) Lawrence of Medicine Lodge, Ronald (Christa) Lawrence of Wichita, Sheldon (Patricia) Lawrence of Hawaii; sisters, Paula (Jim) Lindon of Cushing, Oklahoma and Rita Lawrence of Topeka. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Greeta Lawrence; brothers, Verlin Lawrence and Wayne Lawrence. Visitation 5-7 pm, Tuesday, June 18, Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Services 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 842 N. Tyler, Wichita. Burial 3:00 p.m. will be at the Nashville St. John Lutheran Cemetery, SW 150th St and SW 165th Ave, Nashville, Kansas. Memorials to Ascension Lutheran Church, Wichita or American Red Cross.
