Tennyson, Elvin Merle, 76, retired Beech Engineer, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013. He was born in Valley Center, Kansas to David Waldene Tennyson and Vivian Ann (Hanes) Tennyson. He was a graduate of Valley Center High School. Elvin served in the United States Air Force and Kansas Air National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Rose M. Tennyson; sons, Robert Tennyson of Colwich, Russell (Lou) Tennyson of N. Richland Hills, Texas and Roger (Bythia) Tennyson of Wichita; grandchildren, Nichols Tennyson, Alex Tennyson, Kirk Tennyson, Bayli Tennyson and MaKenna Tennyson; brothers, Garry (Sherry) Tennyson of Keller, Texas, Norman (Sharon) Tennyson of Newton, Lynn (Marcene) Tennyson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Juanita (Harold) Dennett of Palco, Ks and Karen Browning of Gardner, Ks. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Courtney Tennyson, parents David and Vivian Tennyson, brothers Phillip Tennyson, Duaine Tennyson, Orville Tennyson and sister Wanda Schiefelbein. Visitation 9:30 a.m. and Services 10:30 a.m., both will be held on Tuesday, April 2, at First United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park, Valley Center, Kansas.
