Obituary

WICHITA, KS

Henderson, Eloise Mildred (Morris), 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was born in Independence, Missouri, to Harold G. and Marie (Baxter) Morris. She was a graduate of Independence High School, Independence, Missouri. She received her Bachelor's degrees in English and Music from Central Methodist College, in Fayette, Missouri. Eloise taught in Florida, Missouri and in Mulvane and Valley Center in Kansas, as well as giving private piano lessons in the home. In addition, she was for many years the church organist at the Christian Science church, of which she was a lifelong member. In 1972, she and her husband, Bert, purchased Echo Hills Golf Club, and together they operated the golf course for 40 years until it closed in 2012. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bert Henderson; children Doug Henderson (Donna Papangellin), Cheryl (Ron) Greiving, Julie Henderson and David (Rhonda) Henderson; grandchildren, Jessica, Laura, Alex, Andy, Cassie, Cristina, Kevin and Conri; great grandchildren, Maya and Colby; brother H. Glenn Morris. She is preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Siegert, and parents Harold and Marie Morris. Celebration of Life Services to be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, at Eberly Farm, 13111 W. 21 st St. N., Wichita, Kansas. Memorials to Second Church of Christ, Scientist, 4201 E.
