ELLA JOY (WALKER) TIGERT , loving mother and grandmother died peacefully Sunday the 26th of March surrounded by family. Ella was born in Caddo, Oklahoma. On September 11, 1934 and Married James C. Tigert July 3, 1951. She is preceded in death by her mother Virgie Mae Walker, father Marion Henry Walker, husband James C. Tigert and sisters Nina Hembree and Joyce Lorance. Ella was a very strong and independent woman with a resolute faith in God. She enjoyed attending church, listening to worship music and tending to her beautiful flowers. She is survived by three daughters Sandra Kunce (Ray), Cheryl Huffman (Ed) and Stacey Williams; eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Baker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
